AC issues

2001 Toyota 4runner SR5

Turned on AC last night to speed 1 and noticed a burnt smell coming out from the vents. I immediately turned ac off and parked my truck. After a couple of hours went by, I went to see what would that smell be coming from. I tried the low speed and no burnt smell. Blower motor maybe? Anyone had this issue before? I'll try the higher speeds when I get home from work. thanks in advance

So does a/c cool? Can you feel/hear the compressor/clutch kick on?

If so, Burnt smell may not be a/c? :cowboy:
