ACC fufe tap?

Sorry for the title miss-spelling "ACC FUSE tap"*

So I am trying to install a aftermarket CD player into the truck today and I figured I would run all new wires. Got the ground and the fuse-able link from the battery for constant power. Now I am trying to run a ignition switch wire from the ACC fuse on the fuse box, but I am at a complete loss as to which wire to tap into. Can anyone give me an idea as to which plug and color wire on that plug I should tap into. Not having much luck with google.

I used an "add a fuse" to the acc circuit under the hood for the trigger relay to my lights .this might be an option for you to look into .

don't need to "add a fuse" I just need to know what wires on the back of the fuse box are the ACC circuit.

Well then your going to have to open that puppy up and take a look .the reason i suggested an add a fuse is it will isolate your connection from your splice.its labeled

it is opened all up and I am on a time crunch, but it looks like I will just have to put it back together and do it again tomorrow. was hoping when I got a look at the back of the fuse box I could just look and isolate the wires running to the ACC fuse. Nope, just a bunch of plugs. 2 of which have been tapped for what looks like the alarm but I can't be sure which is the ACC. No way to test anything atm.

The factory radio ACC connection is the solid gray wire in the 1G plug at Terminal 12 on the back of the fuse panel. See page 24 on the second link for location, format and pinout of Plug 1G.

Amazing what you can do with an EWD.

I knew there were two grays--13 is the power antenna--so I specified the terminal. Didn't know about the other two.
