Accy Belt Tensioner Pulley

Is the accy belt tensioner pulley bolt left hand thread? I was watching a video from 1A auto, and he indicated the pulley bolt was left hand thread. I have not seen this anywhere else. He was working on an 02 4.7, and mine is an 06 4.7. Just wondering before I break something. He was working on a Tundra, and I have a 4 Runner. Thanks in advance.

yes, turn clock wise to loosen the bolt for the accessory belt tensioner.

Left handed thread means that turning the bolt to the left(counter clockwise) will tighten the bolt, and in this case move the tensioner pulley to allow install/removal of the drive belt and turning it right(clockwise) will loosen the bolt.
