Actual 4runner trailer build

So I'm putting together a trailer using the back of a 4Runner. I haven't seen it done and figured why not? What I'm thinking is to use a second 4runner for the front but turned around.

I have two 4runners and just parted out a trailer for the axle and hitch. I just need to swap the hubs so I can run identical wheels to my truck. This will allow my spares to work on the truck and trailer.

Has any one seen this done before? Here's a pic of the first donor. I'm using the frame for a ground up build down the road so otherwise it would be scrapped or parted so I figure it's worth a try.

Finally getting back to this build. Rough cut for the first half is done. I hope to cut the second this weekend. I also started gutting the rear hatches.

I'd keep the doors to keep stuff inside the trailer

Is that Make Up Air Unit in the back, a spare too?

I thought of this, al-be-it... I thought of having the back of the truck... to keep the rear hatch and let it ride the stock axle, that way I just have to match the suspension on my trailer to the 4runner pulling it...

but I've also thought of a early bronco trailer too...

That will keep the trailer interior nice and cool, but he needs to do a Man J, might be a touch over sized.

Yeah, I want to make sure my truck is warm this winter. If I heat the air around it, I won't have to clear the snow off or scrape the ice off the windshield. ..

Actually, it's just more stuff I need to get rid of.

I do over do things, I mean the 4runner I'm driving is partially armored and has an espresso machine.

I'll try and get some up soon. I've been out of town a lot for work. Though my truck is about ready for zombies.
