Addicted Bumper

Could I see some good shots of Addicted's bumper showing approach angles? My only concern is that it seems to hang pretty far out. Also, since I don't have any fender flares I fear the side tubes are going to stick out and look a little goofy.

The bottom of the bumper doesn't stick out any further than the "fat lip" bumper and because it doesn't have the plastic panels underneath the bumper, the approach angle is actually improved over stock. The "stinger" sticks out further, but that's way above where the stock bumper was, and primarily functions to protect the winch/grille area.

Funny story: Dad came over to a party at our house on Halloween weekend, and we decided to use the garage to host the party since it was a bit chilly, so both cars went outside, with my 4runner parked near the street.

Dad came up to me and said "what in the hell are you planning on hitting with that bumper?"

Unfortunately I didn't have the presence of mind to tell him it was a "Zombie Plow", since I only just heard that term last weekend.

That is Irbis offroads bumper but I don't believe he is still making them. Last I read, he isn't making anything right now.

I don't know if that last bumper had a place to mount a winch, but if I was to have a front bumper built, a place to mount a winch would be the main reason.
I would imagine that Addicted's bumper is winch mountable, but some of those pictures look otherwise.

All those bumpers have a place for a winch. go to irbis offroad and you can see other pics of that bumper with the winch in it.

Here's a photo of the bumper before it was installed. You can see the winch plate in the center. Holes are pre-drilled and the opening for the fairlead is already cut into the front:

In this front view you can see the plate that protects the winch and the cutout for the fairlead:

Now, having said that, it does appear a bit "tight" so I'm not sure how big a winch can be mounted. I know Scotty has a winch on his SAS'd 2000 4runner, but I don't know the make & model.

I've been contemplating a winch, still going back and forth between imported (Smittybilt) and domestic (Warn.) However, priority-wise, a winch is pretty far down on my list (ahead of it: lift, trans temp gauge, rear bumper w/swing out for gas cans, HAM radio installation, sleeping platform.)

I got the LEDs from Addicted as well when I got the bumper. I think it was a $15 option. They work OK although they're not that bright. At night they're OK but in the daytime they're kind of hard to see. I had to put the LED-compatible flasher on in order to get them to blink at a normal rate.
