Yeah. I was being a bit of a wise-ass. I'm pretty sure that I'm technically supposed to have it on the front, but I've run the plates in this vehicle and my previous Tacoma in the windshields without getting stopped. I pass several state patrol on a daily basis without issue. I'm sure the discretion of windshield = no front plate varies by area and if looking for cause to prompt a stop.

A lot of the 3rd gens will be shipping this week. Not all, but several of the early orders.

Nice! I appear to have been the second 3rd gen in! (I'm local pickup, you guys emailed me asking where to ship it a month ago and I responded & PM'd but never heard a 10-4)

Had a few minutes so I called and talked with Scott. A couple of the early 3rd gens have shipped.

Scott will try to update this thread this weekend now that he has finished all the orders and projects from before the group buy happened. From here on out its GB bumpers!
Our response to the GB was phenomenal and probably a little overwhelming. Our patience will soon pay off!

Got home from work today and found my new bumper waiting for me on my porch. I put my order in on June 17th before I new about the group buy so it's probably why I was one of the first to get theirs. It looks well made and very stout. Can't wait to get it powder coated and put on!

OK so that's about 13 weeks. Which is fine, but the group buy said 4-6 weeks. Part of the reason I went this route, aside from the fact that its a bad ass bumper, and not with other companies quoting 12-16 week lead times. Just would like to know an estimate of time as I'm trying to plan an install and paint at a shop and they need to know when to expect shipment.

Did it come in a box or just as you had it pictured? I need to ship my stock bumper out was hoping to use the box.

Thanks Nathan, Yeah I bet trying to package these things would be a real PITA. I'm exploring other options - just posted a thread asking for suggestions.
