i always thought it was better doing it yourself. i did everything on mine by myself the last 2 years and im 18. rebuilt motor, tranny, axles, ive gone through everything and i know how everything works and what not. i wish my dad would have the same interests i did but o well. great job by the way i havnt commented on this build but ive been watching!

My God!! No telling how much all that has cost and how much time put into It. My first project was an 88 Isuzu Trooper with my father ( i was 17) all we did was a motor swap and a little bit of TLC and usual stuff like seals,timing belt, and Cv axles etc... We didn't do much because me and my Dad was on a Budget. None the less great project you and your son got going remember this forever. I still got my Isuzu Trooper my Dad drives it everyday.

Not much to update. Literally, the rig is as built as you can build one. There really isn't anything to add to it anymore. lol

Hunter got his permit a few weeks ago and has been driving my lifted F350 crew cab and the wife's lifted Excursion around. Once he gets more comfortable with them, its time to get some seat time in the 5spd. He better hurry as we are leaving for 7 days in Moab at the end of May.

One thing I will be doing is adding a 3rd row seat to it though. I should start on that one shortly.

Hey Addicted, do you have any experience with triple sticks? I'm thinking of running them because I don't want to lose the cup holders on my Tuffy console haha! Plus I think it will give a cleaner install look to the inside.

Threw the 3rd row seat into the 4runner today for the trip. Heading out in the AM for a week in Moab.
