Addicts rim

You will not need a leveling kit for the 20x9 -12. 285/50 will not rub at all, 275/55 will rub at full lock only in reverse. It's a very easy fix.

So, I pick up my truck today from dealer and head straight to my local tire guy who was waiting with the XD addicts with the 275/55/20 terra grapplers. First box he opens, the rim has a huge gash in it. So the new rims/tires set up didn't make it on the truck as planned today. He hopes they overnight him a new rim by friday. Man, I was freaking just looking at the rims and tires. They looked huge compared to stock. I was taking off the stock with 10 miles on them.

Kimo, I'm thinking of getting these actually :) but possibly in silver because i have the pearl paint job.

If you get silver Addicts please post a pic. I also have the pearl paint and would love to see them on!

The same wheels will fit an SR5 as the Limited right?

The link I posted doesn't work anymore. Dannyllama is talking about the mht fuel kranks is silver.

you might be waiting a while :D

I'm trying to see how they look on a pearl paint job before shelling out the $$$

I did reach out for a quote and they are on back order.

:dammit: But I feel the same way, I need to see them on a truck before I would feel comfortable buying them too.

If you would send me a PM when you get the quote I would be interested in knowing how much they are. Thanks

I will be selling my 20" Addicts with 275/55-20 Nitto Terra Grapplers. They have about 1000 miles on them. Only selling them because I'm sizing down to 18's to get a more off road friendly setup. PM me for info. Locals preferred but shipping is possible.

FUEL wheels are quite nice. I've had my eye on these for awhile if I can find a decent set of tires and the need for another set of wheels hahah.

I don't think anyone has these. If so, would love to see them on the 4runner, hopefully black!

Tire Trouble

So I go to the tire shop tonight to have the Addicts with the terra grapplers 275/55/20 installed. I knew going in there could be some mild rub. To my surprise, there was more rub than I expected. There was rub in the front as well as in the back up against that small mudflap. Neither front rub nor back rub didn't look to be a easy fix and it was even at a tad before full lock forward. Tire guy thought I should rethink size. Didn't end up putting on anything yet and going to rethink options. Any advice would be great. If I switch tires, any idea what size would work a tad better.

I'm going with KMC Hoss XD795 20x9 wheels, Nitto Terra Grapplers 285/50R20 at -12 offset and 4.53 backspacing. Been told no rubbing with no lift.

I also had the -12 offset. Not sure why the 275/55/20 had such a rub?

Because the 275/55/20 is a bigger tire in diameter(31.9) then the 285/50/20 (31.2) because of the 50 vs. 55 aspect ratio.

Here is a tire size calculator and there are plenty out there.......Tire Size Calculator - tire & wheel plus sizing
