Adding a 3rd Cross Bar

Has anyone added a third cross bar to your factory rack?

I'm interested in a hi lift jack mount (slee off road), but I'm afraid it would require my 2 existingcross bars to be too close together when I use my rooftop luggage bag. Hope that makes sense.

Option 2: Has anyone tried the Hi-Lift tube mount on a "square style" 4th gen roof rack?
