Adding a Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow or other aftermarket muffler

I'm interested in hearing from anyone who has installed a Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Muffler or other aftermarket throaty, but tolerable interior resonance....type of muffler. I'd like to add one to my 02 SR5 Sport Ed. but need some guidance on size (2", 2.25", etc.), offsets vs center. Not looking for dual out, just single to existing OEM tailpipe.

Any installation tips, cautions, suggestions, exact model #'s, photos, videos, final results/opinions would be very helpful.

Had a flowmaster 40 series on mine for awhile, I liked it, now it's on my wife's 4runner, don't remember the size or model#.

Im running the Flowmaster 50 series. the part #52457. It's 2.25" center in/ 2.25" offset out. A little quiet from the flowmaster 40 series.

I like that growl from that video above on the 40 series. ^^

its 2.25 in and out. the pipe does expand to 2.5 at one point but yea there it is. i got a super 44 on the way. its 2.5 in and out and duals so yea. check out youtube for sound clips if you havent. flowmaster sounds awesome. all flows are designed for minimal interior resonance. i think 50 series is the best cause they are 3 chamber vs the 40 and my super 44 being only two. more for you to think about. i chose this over magnaflow cause i have heard some bad things about magnaflow. that and flow at idle and lower rpms sounds better.
