adding a sub???

I use one ten. Nothing serious just to fill in.
I have an Alpine mounted under the drivers seat and my back space is still useable.

Very easily. Sometimes I put a couple of bikes inside so I just put down the seats and have the sub facing the door.

I have two 10's and a 5 channel amp in the back of mine. Yes it takes a lot of room but the amp is mounted to the box and comes with quick disconnects for all the wiring. It sounds excellent inside and removes in just a few minutes.

nope it's a custom box with two Fosgate P2 10" subs and an Orion 5 channel amp.

2003can4runner, where did the intaller put the amps so that they are out of sight? Was everything still functional after the install (ie rear seats still fold down) and are they in a place where the levels can still be accessed and manipulated?

If your wife is not to much of an audiophile, than just as an alternative to what else is being suggested is an under the seat sub. Unfortunately with car audio you pay for what you get.

I'm only suggesting this as a cheap alternative to to the other suggestions. I've never seen nor heard one of these, but just wanted to let you know its out there.

I got my 2 12" bostons set like RonMaiden and 4RNR4BB in the back w/quick disconnects.
