Adding a swing out to the Eimkieth bumper...anybody done it?

Right now I'm driving around without the spare. I'm ready to tackle this and am wondering what folks have come up with?

I haven't done it, but it seems very plausible. Last I checked, Keith was working on perfecting a latch system. Not sure how often he's on this forum anymore but maybe he can chip in.
Otherwise a lot of folks like using the 4xInnovations parts for custom swingouts. I have their bumper and the mechanisms and swing are awesome, very burly and I can't imagine anything breaking on it.

I did it last year on a customer's vehicle. I used a 4x innovations hinge and made a custom bracket for it that fit the bumper contours. Used their latch as well. Little unconventional setup in that the tire is cradled inside the swingout rather than being carried off the back, but ends up being the same amount of force put onto the bumper and hinge as ay other set would. I had some issues with the bumper flexing a lot at the hinge but he was missing some of the mounting bolts and it was an earlier generation of bumper so those were likely what caused that.

I originally built the truck for the guy about a year and a half ago. I did a rear 3 link, 14 inch shocks, installed the front long travel and a few other things. He got in an accident and rolled it basically a year exactly later. Truck came back to me for a suspension makeover to improve on what I did originally. Made some tweaks to the rear 3 link, added 14 inch coilovers, a 9.5" land cruiser based axle housing that I built in house 4" over stock width, 10 inch coilovers in the front, and the tire swingout. He is currently working on swapping the body over to a clean one.
