Adding a thermometer?

Most newer vehicles have a display of the outside air temperature. What have folks here installed on their 3rd gen 4runners to get the same info?

Right now I have one of those crappy cheap little $8 thermometers they sell at auto parts places but I'd love to have something that looks nicer and works better.

I know there are mirrors that have the temp/direction display but they seem to start around $160 and go up. I'm trying to find something in between the super cheap and the super expensive. I figure I'm not the only one whos' wanted this.

Does anyone know of a factory mirror/thermometer/compass from another vehicle that can be easily adapted to the 4runner?

Someone put a temp thing in spot of there clock, a few bought the Hilux Surf Altimeter in, most just judge by opening the window to see how cold it is.

I know it seems like a small thing but I do like knowing the exact temperature.

Will most likely be getting one of these 2 1/16" gauges:

Should be less than $100 OTD and it should look pretty good, too!

You could alway mount it under the radio, gauges would look better there then on the A pillar of an SUV.
