Adding spindles to current suspension

Hey everyone,

I currently have Bilstein 5100s all around (set at 2.5" at the front) and Daystar 1.5" in the rear of my 2WD. I was just gathering some ideas and wanted know if you all think that adding spindles (such as Maxtrac) would increase the ride height even though it's already at 2.5"

I don't go off roading or anything at all. Just normal road driving.

What tires are you trying to run? I have 5.5" of lift between body and suspension lifts and have no rubbing ever with 33's. I could fit 35's easily but might get some slight rubbing on pinch welds which I'm not scared to hammer flat. If you hate the idea of body lift then get the spindle lift for the front and upgrade to some longer coils in the rear that will give you 3" of lift and you should be level. If you are only doing street driving and want the look, body lift is easy and relatively cheap. My 2.5 was $315 I believe. The spindle lift amount will add to your overall lift. So since your at 2.5" now, add the 4" maxtrac spindles and youll have 6.5" of lift in the front. Not sure why youd need spindles if you dont do much offroading though unless youre just trying to fit the biggest possible tires.

Cause it's the only way to get lean out of these God forsaken stink bugs. I wish I had 2wd a lot.

The goal in the long run is to get to at least 4-6" of lift along with 20's with 33's. I want to create something nice and clean to my liking. It's not something that has to be done right away. Just things that go through my mind where I ask "I wonder if this could work." We all do it. I know I can't be the only one.

I saw that Maxtrac has the 4" spindles. I could do that and adjust my Bilsteins to 1-2" (5-6" in the front) and then put 4" in the rear cause I like the little "lean." I currently have some going on with my current setup.

yes these guys are right about adding spindles to your current lift.

I currently have my coil overs set at 1" on the passenger side and about 2" on the driver side to account for the "4runner driver side" lean. so in total, the front sits about 5" from stock height. and in the rear i have all pro 2" lift coils but i like a little bit of rake because [MENTION=87687]LTDSC[/MENTION] is right, these things stinkbug hard.
 
You will need some more lift in the back unless you really hate rake.

Okay. I was curious how your setup was cause I like it a lot. But I like a little rear rake. I personally favor more lift in the front and the back sagging a bit. Lol. But thanks for explaining dude!

typically a diff drop (if needed) but the diff and CV stay in same spot. Just lifts the mounting mount of UCA, lift spindles and small spacers to push out the cv at the diff.
