My wife also tried to get Adele tickets at a few different venues but had no luck.
Personally, I don't like live shows. It's just not worth the money but my wife loves them. Same applies to movies. As for Adele, she does have an amazing voice, I respect her for that but I just don't care for that type of music. My wife and kids have vastly different taste in music than I do.
I do agree though, happy wife, happy life.
