Adio3x's Build/Pic thread.

I had to make a short film for one of my classes, chose to do it about my 4runner and its upcoming 2 year birthday in May.

First time shooting video in a long long time. Enjoy.

Nice Job Andrew... You should be the official cinematographer for the 4Runner contingent at Ouray if you you guys are coming!

The only thing missing from that video was the cake being devoured by the truck (or just ran over) and the loving wash being by some girlfriends! LOL

Nice job dude and I loved the sound track.

Okki

Bro is there anything you CANT do? Great video and I have 4runner envy, 4Runner of 2012.

Thanks guys!!

Ah man, now why didn't I think of that! Crushing of the cake would've been awesome!!! Girls > Me, washing the truck any day LOL. Maybe there will be a part II coming soon lol.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, a video must be worth ten thousand pictures. I really enjoyed it. Your truck looks even better in video than in the pictures you've posted.

Nice job, nicer truck.

I have been in the film industry for 30+ years and some of the companies I work with don't shoot as nice of videos as that. Great job.

What camera are you using? Nice use of shallow depth of field on the first 3:30.

Thanks all! I used to shoot a lot of film before I got into photography. Haven't gotten back into til just this year. I'm using a Canon T3i with a Sigma 28mm 1.8, Jag35 custom setup + D-focus.

That was a really nice video!

Looking forward to meeting you in moab! Remind me again what days you'll be there?

Thanks bud. We're shooting for either the 11-18 or the 22 to whatever. And we're going to stop in colorado springs, hopefully getting a rear bumper, then going to ouray for a day, then moab.

Andrew .. I'm really interested to hear how you make out with Hefty Fab Works. I'm contemplating making a road trip from Calgary down to Colorado Springs for a rear bumper as well.

They are currently pretty slammed right now, I talked to Chris (the owner) a few weeks ago, he said they are going to start taking orders for these bumpers in a month or two.

I originally wanted just a swing out tire gate, but I'm heading out there in a few weeks and they have a dual mocked up already. Paying a little extra to get the dual, not a huge deal, I just got my rotopax in :hungry:
