Adio3x's Build/Pic thread.

CB setup looks good! Can you take a few more upclose pics if you don't mind? I'm still working that drifter mount that we talked about. Getting some design and sizing figured out through solidworks, and hopefully I'll have one brought to life before too long.

And you can't go wrong either way with the skids or lights. Both need to happen eventually right? :D

Eventually I'll have both lol. Yea that rear gate is tricky, you'll have to bend it at some weird angle cause of those taillamps.

Spencer, I'll get you some close up pics in the morning.

Truck looks great and ready to take on mother nature! Very nice!

Thanks guys!!!!:reddance:

Yeah, I'd like to bring it out down below the light, but I need to find a solid mounting point, and get it shaped out better then what I have before I try to bring it to life. I just need to look at it a little more.

*Little update*

Just drove back home from school, found these waiting for me in my room!!!

Just wanted to update everyone:

I have about 3-4 more sets of the Countersteer Type X matte black wheels, and then they will be sold out until early April.

I do also have some of the special order matte bronze coming in early April. I will have 2 sets available in early April.

Nice!

Ugh why did you have to tell me!!! LOL

I just bought a set of sequoia/tundra wheels for beaters, maybe the black X's could become my beaters and I could rock the bronze lol.

Got my Rigids all wired up today!! Let me just say, DO NOT stand in front of them when they are on, I lost my vision for literally a minute lol.

On a side note, can someone confirm that the lights where the knobs are for the air/heat do not illuminate at night. Basically anything under the head unit. I just don't remember if they did or not lol.

Four 6 inch SR Rigids, Flood-Specter-Specter-Flood. Used SR Cradles to mount them.

ALL LIGHTS ON!

Wow!!! Probably one of my favorite 5th gens. Keep up the great work. I am making a 7 hour trip to Saint Louis this weekend to visit some family and all I can think about is how cool would it be to meet this rig on the road. Well done.

Such a sick setup Andrew! I'm so jealous of your rack/light setup. That's the exact setup I want to run but I know after that the truck won't fit into the garage. Do you have a ground to top of the highest point on the rack measurement?

Awesome pics!

Sweeeeet! Nice job, they look killer! They're pretty hard to photograph, aren't they!?
I couldn't even look though my view finder when photographing mine. You did a good job though. Truck looks great! Keep up the hard work!

They look great! I'm not loving my cheapo lights and am considering these. Searched around and could not find great pics - how are these mounted to the Gobi? Do they use the built in Gobi tab mounts?

Thanks! I saw that you were looking to purchase a 5th gen. If you ever want to meet up, I'm free all weekend.

I'll get some measurements soon, but I fit perfectly in the garage. I didn't before when I had my Yakima, but with the gobi stealth, it fits fine. Not now cause I'm running a 4ft firestik lol.

Yea it was hard, I was partially blinded, but I underexposed and got a good shot lol.

You use the stock mounts, but the lights need mounts too. So I went with the SR cradles, I know other members have used tabs that can be welded on or for the E series, the U cradles.

1) Lights are legit

2) There should be stuff illuminating under the headunit...

Thanks! I wonder what happended then. None of my lights under the hu light up. Hrmmmm.
