I'll be looking for a suspension upgrade next spring. These look interesting, but I haven't seen much information about the ADS stuff. How do the coilovers compare in performance and quality to say Kings or Icon?

Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.

There are a handful of ADS coilovers being delivered to 3rd gen owners now. As I get reviews back from customers I’ll be sure to post them up for everyone.

I believe Connor (4runningdaily) is running ADS rear shocks

There’s a ton of useful information on these over at TacomaWorld. Not 3rd gens in particular but a lot of Tacoma guys love them.

They’re more closely related to Kings as compared to Icons due to there progressive valving. That and they have higher internal tolerances when compared to Icon in particular, but [MENTION=114863]4RunningDaily[/MENTION] can speak more on that than I can.

Yes these are the same coilovers as on their site however they don't have the option for resi up on their site. I have the resi and resi w/ clicker options.

The LT coilover option is for the MCM 3.5" LT kit and won't work with stock width control arms.

They come with 600lb but I can have them built with any spring rate you'd like.

Pricing wouldn't change for a different spring rate.

Still a few weeks out on rear shocks and they won't be part of the sale. Most likely will be in the $1400 range

I would probably just set it in the middle setting and leave it there anyway.

I don’t think they are needed in all honestly. The coilovers come valved for 3rd gens so the valving should be perfect already.

Like you mentioned, you’d probably end up never touching them.

Oh man, I need to start saving my pennies! What benefits do the bypasses give?

I plan on installing OME 861 springs in the rear, which gives 4-4.5" of lift. Do you think the 8.5" travel shocks will work with that much lift?

Just a heads up .... Really really do upgrade your Spindles while you have the front suspension apart. Don't end up like I did.

Upgrade in which way? Spindle gussets?

Yes. Sorry if the comment seems random but I feel like not enough people know that the risk of a spindle failure is very real and upgrading with the weld on brackets is cheap and easy.
