How about the switch you mounted next to the dual volt meter? Where did you get that? It looks pretty good mounted flush. I could use a few more switch spots mounted flush like that.

The red three-position switch came with the Blue Sea Automatic Charging Relay.

Is the meter always on?

Yup. I like to be able to peek in and just grab a quick glance. Maybe I'll add a switch later.

So I didn't post any pics from the last trip. It was incredible and I'm still on a high from it.

Maiden voyage for the Antman built cargo box and table (it was incredible).

My cot tent worked really well.

Today's adventure was with my hubby's racing club. They had a dyno day, so I thought, why not? And ran home to get my truck. $75 for two pulls... although it took them a bit to figure out how to run it (more like 4-5 pulls). Best was 229.7 (my guess was 230), printout shows 226.7. I didn't really care what the numbers were, so it was entertaining for a performance shop that mostly works on Audi and Volkswagen. They said I had the most unique vehicle they've ever had in their shop...

Then I hauled hubby's race car home lol!

NGP does good shit! I've owned a few VW's and they were my go-to shop.

Well... time for an update....

Installed my snorkel last night...

1. Absolutely buy the fender liner clips.

2. Do not start this install after work when you have to get up at 5am... [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

3. Have small hands.

4. Have incredible patience.

5. Use a vast vocabulary of select expletives.

I haven't washed my truck for awhile so I hit it with some quick detailer.

Here are the fender liner clips...

And what most of mine looked like after removal...

The fender liner removal turned out to be incredibly difficult and time consuming.

I did not remove it all the way as I couldn't afford to break any more clips.

Taking out the airbox components.

Fancy template placement, which I checked about a half dozen times.

Farewell message to my fender.

I used a dremel and heavy duty cut off wheels. It worked well and was easy to maneuver. I bought some metric step bits which worked perfect. Applied the paint and moved into the garage.

Marked and drilled the A-pillar. This was a nervous moment.

I have the TRD airbox... I DID NOT remove 25mm of material as the instructions stated. It was obvious to me that doing that would not leave enough of a lip for the rubber and hose clamp. Looking at the picture it was clear this part of the instructions should be different.

I did choose to seal up the bottom of the airbox with silicone.

Annnd.... done.

I ran the Canaan loop today with the boys. I had such a blast in the snow. I ran this loop in June with [MENTION=137555]Sleeter[/MENTION] and it was awesome. With the snow it was so amazing.

I also did some scouting for the spring trip in Bald Eagle on Monday. It was awesome being out there with the fresh snowfall.

Awesome- wish I woulda been there!!!

It was a long day (roughly 14 hours in the truck). I decided to go last minute. I drove out and back the same day. But it was still a blast!

Another long day in the truck netted some more great snow shots. I drove into a winter storm warning this morning to scout some of the trails for the April trip. When I left the Baltimore area around 6:30 am, it was about 46 degrees. The high temp in the mountains was about 18 degrees. Last night the area was under a flood warning, temps dropped and the rain turned to snow. I drove through an area that was flooded then got onto the forest roads. By the time I got back into civilization my rear doors had so much ice and snow under them (over the sliders) that they couldn't be opened. It was a fun day and just beautiful.
