Advice needed, 5100's and spring compression

I'd like some input from the board on compressing front springs for an installation of Bilstein 5100's. Last time I swapped out struts was in the late 90's on a Tacoma and just rented some spring compressors from Autozone and they worked but I was kind of on pins and needles doing the work. Ah life before kids!!! Anyway, are the stock springs on an SR5 a feasible candidate for a similar compression using rented tools or are they stiff enough to merit having a shop do it? Just asking ahead of time to reduce any unforeseen issues before taking on the swap. Thanks in advance.

OP, I have lifted two 5th Gens and two 2ng Gen Tacomas with the adjustable 5100's by using rental compressors from Autozone. I've had zero issues. Just use both compressors and tighten incrementally going from side to side.
