Advice needed on wheels

Haha, my stepdad owns a powdercoating shop.. i was thinking about going with bronze. i have a desert dune matallic runner.. my stepdad has an 05 gmc turbo diesel and its black with a 4" lift and bronze moto metal wheels he coated himself

That's cool to have a coater in the familly.

I think the black is growing on me more and more. Looks like the bronze will have to wait. I'll get some pics here shortly.

Bronze OE '03 LimitedRims on Stratosphere Mica

You guys still want to see the Bronze on a truck?

Mine isn't black, but I went with the bronze wheels on my stratosphere mica. I had my tire guy paint my OE Limited rims Duplicolor bronze today while he was doing my daystar lift and spidertraxx spacers.

I'll get it back Wednesday afternoon and shoot some pics and post 'em up here.

Looking forward to reading what you all think. I was a bit apprehensive about it, but I figured the blue Subaru WRX with bronze wheels look pretty sweet. That, and I couldn't afford new rims and the finish on my rims was pretty sad.

what kind of wheels are those? have u ever tried taking off the cap? personally i think truck wheels look more aggressive without the caps for some reason.

lose the back.... bronze them, or we will all hunt you down, take you runner and do it for you, your choice... the easy way or the hard way

jk the black looks ok(bronze would of looked better) but the work looks good man

it's actually dark bronze. my wife said it was hideous; said the car is no longer elegant. I guess that's okay, since I was never really going for elegance. I like it though.

i like it man, its unique! i saw a a newer red tacoma the other day with those wheels i wish i would have got a picture of it but this guy painted his wheels with that red chrome spray paint and it looked horrible!

Thanks GottaBeTRD (awesome avatar photo by the way). Every time I look at the truck I like the bronze more and more. Now I am thinking about de-badging the truck.

thanks. I agree about the wheels. They are on the list for the end of summer. I'm trying to decide between Terra Grapplers and the Kelly Safaris. I'm leaning toward the Safaris.....
