Advice on 01 purchase

Hey guys... need some knowledge from the experts here as I have been out of the 4Runner loop for a few years. Looking at a 01 SR5 4x4 with 206K on the clock. Seller provided some frame photos... please review and provide feedback. I'm a little gun shy because my last Tacoma had a frame issue I missed before I bought it. This looks ok to me in pictures but haven't seen in person yet. Trying to decide if I want to drive 2 hours to see it.

Gotta see it in person. Nothing in those photos except for whatever is blacked out in the first photo!

He could be just taking photos of the best parts of the frame.

Thats considered rust free in the NE.

Tell the seller you really want clear daytime pics of the rear axle housing, the frame and crossmembers behind and above the rear axle, and most important the inside of the frame rails above the lower control arm mounts. While He's at it, you may as well get good pics of the front suspension and engine compartment while He's there.

If He can't provide you with detailed pics, no reason to drive out there, just move on to another one.

agree with ^Alan^...also you need to ask about maintenance records so you can see what's been done...if he doesn't have any..pass on it & look elsewhere...good luck..!!
