Advice on replacing Belt, Pulleys, Hoses

We will be taking a road trip to Florida in March and I will be replacing my radiator with a Denso, also replacing the t-stat and radiator cap as well.
I figured while I was there I may as well replace the serpentine belt, idler pulleys, etc...
Is there much of a difference in quality/lifespan between the
Gates kit

other than about $40.00

Same question with the upper and lower radiator hoses, Gates vs AcDelco.
Lastly I will change the transmission fluid using the lines going to and from the radiator method.

Don't forget a water pump (Aisin) while you're that far in. I just did all of this myself.

I chose Gates for hoses and idlers. One bolt had to be replaced on the idlers, due to the offset design variables between OEM and Gates, the bolt was too long. Plan ahead on that, I don't see why it wouldn't be the same for all 4runners. It was on the lowest idler pulley I had issues.

I've learned with Toyota's, just stick to the good manufacturers for things that you don't OFTEN replace. IE: Aisin water pump, not shelf brands, WL fluid for the transmission, Denso radiator is good. I got all my stuff from Rock Auto and the prices were excellent.

Aisin water pump, Gates upper and lower radiator hoses, Stant thermostat/elbow piece in one, Denso radiator, Gates idler kit/serpentine belt.

what do u have? v8 or v6.

when did you last change those parts and whats your odometer reading now?

The thermostat housing comes with a thermostat installed. It kinda locks in behind a couple tabs. The gasket was already in place, I just had to slip it over the studs and tighten it down.

I actually got my truck going tonight after replacing all the aforementioned parts. No leaks, the idler's you replace come in handy when you do the water pump. When they are removed it gives nice clear access to the bolts on the wp.

The Aisin water pump also includes both o-ring gaskets as well as the main water pump gasket. They sell Aisin coolant at RockAuto as well for like $14 a gallon, the dealer by me wanted $28. So another route to save cash.

What is the correct bolt that you used?

What is the correct bolt that you used?

For my application, there is 3 separate idlers outlined as "2 uppers, 1 lower". I needed to replace one of the 2 upper pulley bolts with a shorter bolt. So I just took the shorter bolt from one and got a second. The bolt spec's are the same, just shorter. Perhaps this was just unique to my engine, an someone screwing with it, but everything looked very original haha.
