I6 5m motors did this alot, sharpen a good putty knife and scrape the goo off.
Remove crank pulley, change key if you wanna.
Pic filler material, clean crank, install key and toothed pulley
Apply filler . .slowly remove toothed pulley and clean immediatley of filler
machine/sand/file as needed "Wedgy" it and reinstall using known good balancer.

That's good information. What type of filler material is recommended for this?

For I6 5m motors, are those the Toyota motors for Supras? I'm not familiar with them, but that is what came up when I googled.

If you do use a filler, you'll want something thin enough that it will stay on the crank when you pull the HB off. I'd imagine the regular JB weld "twin tube" stuff would work. The "putty" style sticks would probably be too thick of a consistency and would pull off when you removed the HB.

I would let it cure for the full 24 hours then take some fine emery cloth (600 grit) or sandpaper and smooth it out before installing the HB.
