Looks awesome, good choice and i think if you went with the -10 you would of needed to take off the flaps.

I still probably will. They do rub a little. I didn't want tire sticking out past the body and it worked out where they are just about flush.

Discount tire is out of the MK6 0 offset til end of January!

I'm thinking about those MB TKO wheels, but I'm worried the extra 2 inches of width above stock would be too much for my current lift.

I could always crank up the bilsteins a notch or 2 and add a rear spacer...

For those of you still watching this thread- I just bought Fx Pro from FN Wheels. They should arrive later this week. I was lucky enough to find a slightly blemished set
so the price was affordable and it has the offset I want to mimic spacers: 8 inch wide, zero offset. I had no idea these existed until last week as they aren't even on the FN wheels website.

The fx pro is a better rim then the real one. As long as you don't have to have the oem center cap. I would just put a red trd decal and cal it a day.

Here they are! I'm very pleased with the look and offset. I'm getting about an 1.5 inches wider than stock.

My take

buy OE rims and paint um black. Ive done this for a while b/c with a OE wheel you wont be bummed if you grind down the rim lip or ding the rim if youre aired down. specially with a black rim. I know it wont look as cool but...
