Affordable black wheels recommendation for 06?

I am looking for some black wheels to replace my stock on my 06 Silver SE. I really just want something that is matte black and will give me the same stance as stock plus spydertrax that costs around $100 per wheel. I won't be doing much offroading, maybe a couple times a year. I mostly will be using it for a dd.

Doing some research, I am thinking I need a 17 inch wheel, that is 8 inch wide, with a 0 or slightly negative offset to achieve the slightly wider stance. I'll eventually pair them with 265/70/17 wheels methinks.

Any recommendations on something like that? There are so many wheels out there that I am a little overwhelmed and want to make sure they will work for my ride. Thanks.

I boughtn17x8 black rock wheels for about 400 shipped. Alloy. They are my second set a(had them on my wrangler) and I love them.

Thanks for the tips. I'm looking at the Level 8 wheels currently, the Guardian and the Tracker look pretty cool and are around $115 each.

i just picked up a level 8 punch rims 8.5 -6 offset. if you get a neg offset you won't need to get wheel spacers. with this offset it is about an 1.5 further out and I'm taking off my wheel spacers. with the level 8 rims keep your eye out for wheel weight to keep mpg's down. extra weight and wheel spacers will defeat your price saving on rims in the long run. i think you should go with trd pros/ fn replica that sounds like what you need.

I wouldn't cheap out on wheels. I had a cheap set, they are usually heavy, and paint starts chipping away. either save up for quality wheels, or just paint your stock ones

17x8 with a -10 is a 4.11 backspacing.
17x7.5 w/+30 is a 5.43 backspacing. oem sport wheel
if you add a 1.25 wheel spacer to oem its 4.18 backspacing

you also have to take the .5 in to the front rim for added width.

the 2 models of level 8 rims i looked at had a difference of 8 lbs. so it all depends what you chose. without the wheel spacer your saving another 5 or so lbs to the unsprung weight.

I need less back spacing and I'm not running spacers.

it would be 10mm difference. backspacing is rear of rim to mounting surface and 17x8 /-10 would be like an oem rim with a wheelspacer. you have the look of a wheel spacer and it is safer and lighter. if you want to fit like oem then it will be around +25.

$35 a wheel for PowderCoating is dirt dirt cheap.

Here in SD it is $75-$80 a wheel but they do a great job.
