Its funny how so many people have capitalized off of one thing: FEAR...
how many people have profited from this flat out libel towards Toyota?? and now there is one more company trying to cash in. Figures, someone always seems to profit from stuff like this...

This device is opportunistic at best. They are taking advantage of Toyota's ECM programming - in that the thottle is not modulated when the brake is applied.

But Toyota could do better. Since the advent of electronic throttle control, many automakers have added software to program the throttle to close—and therefore cut power—when the brakes are applied. Cars from BMW, Chrysler, Nissan/Infiniti, Porsche, and Volkswagen/Audi have this feature

I agree entirely that this made in order to capitalize on toyotas mishaps, but if we are talking about being safe and all would you really trust something called "the Decelerator"? I'm by no means a electronics expert but they say that YOU are the one that has to put it on by yourself. I think people with little to no experience working on cars let alone the more complicated modern ones would have a hard time putting this device on. And what would happen it if fails be it on the device itself or it was poorly installed (if it works at all) who is at fault? I really hope no one buys this and puts it on, who knows what'll happen. :toilet::lookout:
