Aftermarket LCA's

I need to replace my front passenger lower control arm. I looked online and found a few here: 96 1996 Toyota 4Runner Control Arm - Suspension - Beck Arnley, Dorman, Mevotech, Replacement, Front Left Lower, Front Right Lower, Front Right Outer - PartsGeek

Has anyone used any aftermarket LCA's or have a preference in brand? I rarely take Ethel(my 4runner) off road so it won't really see any harsh environments which is why I am aiming for an aftermarket part to save money.

Also from what I have read about removing the LCA it seems I don't have the proper tools or experienced knowledge to pull this one off. I know of a few suspension shops around my area that I could take her to but if anyone knows of any reputable shops in the Los Angeles/San Fernando Valley area I would appreciate it.

No recommendation on companies for a LCA other then find someone that switched to long travel and grab theirs or a junk yard. What did you do to your LCA that you need a new one? And to remove the LCA isn't that hard. Just unbolt the 4bolts on the lower ball joint and the alignment cams and it will come out. Also will need to unbolt the steering rack to man handle the bolts in the rear of the arms out, all standard 14-19mm bolts

I made the mistake of letting my buddy install my LBJs. He went to a trade school that had an automotive department so I thought why not. Long story short he mistook the LCA arm that connects to the LBJ as the LBJ..... :bash:

My fear is parts being difficult to remove due to the car having 250,000 miles. I don't want to go with a used one after reading about replacing the bushings so I'd rather start fresh. With all the info this awesome forum has given me I may as well try it myself. Now I just need to figure out which one to buy.

just remember an impact is your friend in these parts lol if you go new it will cost you but with that comes some piece of mind and going used will just be cheaper.
