Aftermarket skid plate mounting - Hefty Fabworks

are there known clearance issues or anything on these plates?

backing out of my driveway, and i noticed a grind noise by my passenger side front today.

nut on top of the transmission cross member on the driver's side contacted a flange on the front drive shaft on mine and definitely made a grinding noise when in reverse. otherwise I haven't had any clearance issues in the 10 months I've had mine on

that was my big worry when i had that installed. there was maybe 5mm between the shaft and the nut.
Will check to see if my nut has some damage on it later.

Sound sounded like it was passenger side, but could have been from right under me.
