What up all. I should have done this last year when I pick up the rig. I’m going to start documenting the progress and process of building the complete Overland Adventure rig. I’m learning a lot from this forum. So, if you guys have any questions, I’m here to answer them.

Current Mods:

Front Suspension:
Current: Toytec Boss 2.5 Coilovers set at 3 inches (Replacing with Fox 2.5 Resi DSC Custom Overland Valuing from Accutune)
Total Chaos UCA

Rear Suspension:
Current: Toytec Boss 2.5 Rear shocks and Toytec SuperFlex HD (Replacing with Fox 2.5 Resi DSC Custom Overland Valuing from Accutune)
Total Chaos Rear End Links: Upper, Trailing Arms and Panhard bars
Wheelers bump stop (Replacing w/Timbren Active bump stops)

Armor:
RCI Complete Skids (Gas tank on ordered)
Pelfreybuilt sliders
Relentless front and rear bumpers on order

Wheels/Tires:
SCS SR8 Matte Black Wheels
Toyo RT’s 285/70/17 Tires (debating to go larger to 305/315)
Upgrading to 305/70/17 Tires

Performance:
Nada for now. (debating going with new gears 4.88 and maybe the SuperCharger)

Headlights: HID kit from Extreme HID

I'm hoping to spend my first night in it this weekend. It's a big tent. So far, I've been impressed with the quality of the materials used compared to Freespirit and Tepui. The only downsize I see right now is the weight. It's significant heavier than the Freespirit. I'm hoping it doesn't throw me off to much on the trail.

I've bottom up a couple of times and I want something that will cushion it more.

Yeah, I did a 3M satin wrap. It has lasted 2 years without to many damages.

What did you think about the overall quality of the Freespirit? I'm considering their High Country tent but it does seem they use a much lighter weight canvas than the Aus or South African brands.

Freespirit uses the lighter materials which isn't terrible but I'm planning some camping trips out in Oregon and Canada this winter so I wanted something a bit thicker. I like the overall design and their concept. It was a breeze to set up. I thought about getting their High Country with their new quitted fabric. But I needed the tent by Dec.

I love my Timbrens! I only have them in the rear, but it was night and day difference over stock bumpstops with a drop block. I will eventually get the fronts, but I hit the front less...usually cause my tire hits the fender well first! :nod:

I haven't noticed it as much as the noise coming from my light bar. The light bar noise is pretty damn loud and would drown out any other noise.
