Mother fvckin sons of a *****.
Its been a wonderous 36 hours...
1) I get nearly all my new OME shit yesterday 330pm
2) fall asleep around midnight, garage door open, truck unlocked. wallet ($800 cash, license, ssc, bank card etc), and ipod STOLEN. wake up around 8 and discover this shitness.
3) finally dropped the truck off this morning and got her a new oil pan, oil change, electric fan wired to toggle in cab and her first FULL TANK OF GAS

losing the $800 (was probably more like 9) is still settling in..... Anyhoo, TRUCK IS IN GARAGE, doors closed and locked and the marmosets are patrolling. LOL, next purchase; Derringer.

ps- did file a pohlees report and filed a claim with geico, my rental insurance provider. I dont expect to see much in the way of cash, but hopefully a new pod and we'll see :\

Sorry to hear that. That would make my blood boil. I guess on the brightside the truck was still there in the morning, but $8 or 900 is a lot of $$ to get ripped off. Your stomach must have dropped to your ankles when you realized what happened. I would get Lifelock or something and notify them that your SS card got stolen and at least you will get some protection. Maybe even call the SS ofice and let them know so if the ****head that took it tries to steal your identity maybe they can bust him. Obviously cancel your CCs if you haven't already. Did you get the lift installed?

That sucks man !! Talk to your insurance carrier about getting the cash back , if they DON"T reimburse the cash it might not be worth seeing your premiums go up for the next 3 years for only an Ipod . That's the way it works here anyways , make a claim and your rates go up for the next 3 years . Just a heads up man , check that before you make official claim .
I had a similar experience and really regretted filing the claim .

I agree, I work for an insurance co. and most of the time your premiums will go up by 30% after a claim.

Check with your ins. co. anyways because some companies only jack the rate up for moving accidents. It also probably depends on the state.
