The air coming out of the two driver side A/C vents is warmer than the air on the passenger side. What would cause this? 2005 4Runner No separate passenger/driver temp controls. TIA

Low refrigerant level, we see this on a few Toyotas when the refrigerant is low. Have the system checked for leaks and recharged.

[MENTION=73194]Park McNair[/MENTION]. First off, WELCOME TO T4R.org!!!! How many miles are on your '05 4Runner? I ask because many of us with 4th gens have sprung leaks in our evaporator at around 100k miles. You definitely have a leak. You can get it recharged, but it will lose all freon within 3-5 weeks. Have your mechanic look for the leak. If he cannot find it, them there is a pretty damned good chance its your evaporator, which is located deep in the bowels of your dash and is a nightmare to get to.
