Air mix servo motor help please.

Hello fellow 4Runner owners! My recycled air setting causes a clicking sound when set on that option with fan running or not. It's a constant click sound, not just when changing from recycled to fresh air. I have diagnosed it to the air mix servo motor, Toyota says its $170, but I can get online for less I'm sure. Has anyone replaced theirs and if so was it difficult? Any pointers or directions?

It seems like it's not that bad once parts are moved out of the way and if you have small fingers. I see some actually try to repair the re-circulation actuator? Is that possible? I saw this thread and was a little confused as to if it could really be repaired or is it worth it because repair might not last.

So if you disconnect your battery and unplug the wires to the harness, do you really need to worry about the Zero-Point Calibration resetting? If your lights are not on when put back together does that mean Zero-Point Calibration was not lost and all should be okay? So the part is actually 87106G in the diagram?

Update to fix.

Hey. Just wanted to let everyone know that the servo motor attached to the blower was bad. Did not attempt to fix motor as it's not worth it. Part was about $115 and to replace it was 1 hour labor, but I has $25 off labor so walked out paying $65 for Toyota to install. Just be warned without this info from the forum they were trying to tell me it would be $220 labor. They thought you had to take the dash out, etc. So thank you for this info provided.
