Air Suspension Compressor Hack?

Probably a dumb question, but has anyone modified the air suspension compressor to be used as a normal air compressor to inflate tires?

My rear suspension has already been swapped out, but the compressor is still there, I hear it run when I hook up a trailer. What does that compressor look like? How hard would it be to put a hose on it and wire it straight to a switch? Any thoughts?

Edit: is it even strong enough to inflate a tire?

1. Enter your 4runner year/make.
2. Then search 'compressor' to see the part.

Once you get the part number, pop that into google images to see what it looks like.

$2,686 wow that is a very expensive compressor.

$900-1000 on Ebay
