ANY ALARM should do. Since the 97 (some) had the RS300x in it, you can remove it. It is a straight forward install. Just get one over the counter or order from Sonicelectronix or something. There is a member here who is a master tech that deals with Compustar. I have been installing alarms since the Alpine Alarm systems where hot LOL! My go to alarm for pocket friendliness is Omega Excalibur. Straight forward install.
