Looks like Rover 1 is out :doh: I agree I think this show is scripted. I will not be the least bit suprised when the lower 48ers win. Now it makes sense why they would have the most modified vehicle.

Guys its a show. I know some of it is bs but what you expect people love drama. My girlfriend and her brother are driving the 94 yota. Its a nice vehicle but needs some up grades. The guys are good people in real life. Its not a bad show. Some of it is dumb but that's TV for you.

Anyone know anything about the rear set-up on that 2nd gen? I didn't see leafs, but noticed what appears to be some very long links running from rear to frame......or am I seeing things?

why does super jeep and the team in the 2nd gen feel that they can talk crap to rover 2 for leaving everyone in the dust when they did the same exact thing? And why is everyone so worried about Rover 2 passing them anyways its not like they can win the money or anything not even bragging rights because they blew their rig up..... DRAMA

My 9 year old asked the very same question. Excess drama. Still, i do enjoy the show. I wish the 1st gen would just get eliminated already. It's so frustrating watching them come in last every day.

The Jason guy in Rover is an arrogant ass! I laughed at Butch hitting his head and getting knocked out, if you look close, he never hit and nodded to the driver with a slight smirk when asked if he was ok. I can't hardly wait to see what "happens" to slow down the Jeep to bring the times closer.

I know right and it happens the episode before the last leg. Sounds like they are trying to make a race between war wagon and super jeep

Yea my wife asked me, instead of driving through the mud why don't they just stay off to the sides. I told her I think it's because they can't disturb more vegetation then is already been run through... 2 minutes later Butch is knocking over trees like a damn dinosaur. I told her well I guess that's not it haha. The show is rediculous but fun to watch.

it is fun to watch. i think it may have to do with they are supposed to run through the mud.....or either way with that soft soupy ground it might be better to run through the ruts to grab solid ground idk but i would have tried to go on the outside of an obviously deep hell hole

Still fun to watch, to catch errors and tell-tale sign that it is Hollywood, not Alaska.

One perfect example is when Rover was trying to get up the wall of the sinkhole. The Defender's grille is right up against the wall that is almost perfectly vertical, the truck basically perpendicular to the wall! Who do you WHEEL up that? LOL!

Man I fell in love with that Black 2nd Gen. Would drive the hell out of that truck! I liked Pete and Shay, they seemed to have small roles than enabled them to stay true to who they were... not what hollywood wanted them to be.

Go Toyota for having 2 trucks make it to the end! 1 being a 4Runner!
