Hey everyone, first off I want to thank everyone for all the great posts. I have learned alot, however I am also blaming you all for spending my money, but someone has to do it..

I installed full FJ suspension shocks and springs this past weekend. Ripped out the Xreas which was completely shot. So now the Runner drives amazing compared to what it was.. So thank you for helping with that decision.

I went to the dealership yesterday, had new timing belt, water pump and alignment done. I do not see a sticker with milage for timing belt, I will ask about that when i return to dealership tomorrow.

On the the question/problem from alignment. This was on my receipt.
"Note: Camber adjuster Frozen right side, needs right side control arm &
adjusters - $936.00 Plus alignment. Is the best we can get it,
will wear front tires on inside edges"

Front Left Front Right
Actual Before Actual Before
-0.1 0.2 camber 1.1 1.1
3.3 2.8 caster 2.8 2.9
-0.02 0.1 toe 0 -0.07
11.7 11.4 SAI 11.1 11
11.6 11.6 incud angl 12.2 12.2

Actual Before
cross camber -1.1 -0.9
cross caster 0.5 -0.1
cross SAI 0.6 0.4
Total Toe -0.02 0.03

"SORRY I CANT GET THE ALIGNMENT NUMBERS SEPERATED"

So they are saying the passenger side lower arm is frozen and cant adjust it, due to salt/weather, maybe rusted etc. Well the car is alot worse now than before I took it in. Pulls to the right pretty bad. I did call dealership back, he said they will get the pull out of it.

So do you guys think maybe I should spray some penetrant on it a few times before I go back and ask them to try again?

Thanks for you help everyone.

BTW yes FJ shocks and springs are the way to go, lovin it..

Yes, try to free up that adjuster bolt before you go back. Try to find some PB blaster penetrating oil. Remove the nut side and cam washer and literally irrigate that adjuster bolt. Try moving it back and forth with a breaker bar or a large ratchet. Also, from the numbers I would think that the outside edge of the pass. front tire is going to wear. That is also most likely the cause of your pull to the right. I can't remember the exact specs but I think the total toe should be positive.

I agree about the FJC springs. Way better.

I also did the FJ springs and shocks on my 06. Pulled Xreas out . That was a good move IMO. I also have a 1" lift in the front (1/2") Cornfed top out spacer . Im also running oversized tires 265/70/17's and 17" FJ rims which I am sick of ....lol.

I had no problems with alignment .

The dealership has some pretty broad specs thats acceptable to them/Toyota for alignment . What I would do is to hit it with that PB Blaster a few times . I did not have dealer do my alignment. I took mine to a specialized frame and axle shop to have it done and they got it dead nuts on !!! I don't trust the dealer with alignments and such because of the broad specs they go by. My friend owns the frame and axle shop so he did it for me . Cost me a few cases of beer :)

So the dealer kind of gave up because stuff was rusted tight ?? Thats BS !!

Good luck and keep us posted

I agree completely, they said it frozen, BS, you can unsick anything if you put some time in it. I actually wanted to have it aligned somwhere else, but the dealer had a coupon and I was getting the other stuff done as well, so why not have them do it all. Guess I shouldnt have second guessed myself. Oh well.

Thanks for the advice guys
