Alignment necessary after bumper weight?

I currently have the 5-perch tundra bilstein 5100's with tundra coils and I'm about to purchase an ARB bumper. My plan is to move up from the 2nd to 3rd notch to compensate for the additional bumper weight. It says this will give me an additional ~.6" of lift. Now, I doubt the extra weight of an empty (no winch yet) ARB bumper will sag my suspension the full .6" back to my current ride height.

So my question is, if I end up about .3-.5" higher than my current ride height, should I get an alignment?

If it matters, my current hub to fender measurement is about 23.5"

You probably don't need one. I doubt it would hurt too much for in town stuff. If your planning a long road trip you might want to do it. Never hurts to be safe and just get it done.

The way I look at it (as I'm debating stepping up a notch soon aswell) is that I've wheeled on the current alignment enough that it might be off a bit. Changing perches may mess with it a bit more so I would get one for my truck.

id get it done, i had mine done after i put the bumper on and it wasnt the best alignment in the first place, really it didnt drive any better, but after i put the winch in and had my springs swapped -went from the TRD coils to the eibach, i had it done again, and wow, it drove 10x better, no more wondering and twitchy feeling driving down the road. id say its worth it

When I initially put my Tundra coils in, they were preset to the third step. It was scary to drive with no "aftermarket" weight on it. At around 80 KPH, a concerning noise began to radiate from the front end. Took them out and reset to the second step then next day. Still wasn't completely happy with the way it drove, so I got an alignment at KalTire. Night and Day difference, drove better than before the lift. IMO, wait until you get the bumper on before you jack it up more, then get an alignment.

If you measure the ride height well enough before and after, you really only need to to get an alignment if its over 1/2 inch. If it comes out to be within that spacing you shouldn't have any issues.
