Alignment question

I tried search for this, and couldn't exactly find the answer I wanted.

My friend has a Silverado with 20x12s and 35s
My 4Runner has 17x8 and 35s.

I am wanting to test his wheels and tires on my 4Runner to see if they will work and what might need to be trimmed for them to work.

Are either one of us going to need an alignment after we put out ORIGINAL wheels and tires back on?

Even if the bolt pattern is the same, one thing you may run into is hub-centric vs lug centric. Hub-centric wheels center the wheel based on the hub, and the lug nuts just hold it on. Lug-centric wheels use the tapered lug nuts to center the wheel on the axle. The 4runner is hub-centric - I don't know about the Silverado. You may have trouble getting the Chevy wheel to fit properly and center up on the 4runner, and vice versa. Could wind up with some off-centered and or wobbly operation. Be careful when you try it out.

Silverado wheels are fuel Mavericks

Also check the bore size. Thread off Tacomaworld you might find helpful (Tacoma uses same wheels as our 4Runners) Lug size might be different as well.
