Alignment specs post lift

Got my lift set at 2.5/2 icon stage 1 on oem sz tires and a buddy saw my specs and recommended I get realigned. Anyone have any comments/concerns on my current specs? I don't feel any major pull. Just wondering if it's worth the realign prior to the recommended realignment after x amount of miles.

Assuming you dont have UCA's, it looks really good. Camber and toe are about perfect. You can try to push the caster farther but that might be all you have.

That's about how mine looked after my first alignment. I was happy with it because the wearing angles (camber, toe) were fine. The second alignment got my caster back to about 2.5 degrees. Regardless, I'm still getting UCA's but this bought me a bit of time and I'm happy with it.

My prelift specs, had it re-aligned at dealer for free a few days back. Get 5100 fronts set @ 1.75 installed tomorrow.

Once again, I got an alignment due to some tracking issues. Anybody see anything wrong? I'm in no position to determine the correctness of these specs. Would appreciate any feed back!

Any suggestions / thoughts on this alignment result

Thank you to anyone willing to provide feedback on this. Following my Lift, I brought this into my dealer, who said they could not adjust the Camber. I know little about all of this, so any thoughts suggestions are greatly appreciated.

3" Revtek lift.

Main question I would like answered is, based on this result (attached image), should I go to a different alignment shop, or are these results OK?

Again, thank you.

I miss the old ways. Never had any luck with computer alignments. Used to have a guy that used the same tech from the 40's and it always came out perfect. Amazing what a experienced tech and a piece of chalk could do. Now that he retired, I always find myself having to go back to the alignment shop for corrections, like centering the steering wheel. I guess that's a thing of the past with all this drive by wire wizardry.

I have 285/70/17 KO2 on King suspension lift and SPC upper control arms. Im getting about 2.75" of lift front and 3" in the rear. Technically King recommends about 2.5" max for my 2.5" front coilovers, so i need to back out a little preload up front.

If you have a 3" lift, aftermarket UCAs were highly, highly recommended, and the advice was valid from King, not keyboard experts "getting away" with stock UCAs and all the issues that come with that decision.

My recent specs from a week ago are attached. I needed a new alignment because a new setting on the UCA was adjusted to give more forward caster (tire rub), and because I added front preload to get another 3/4" of lift (was a little too much in the end). see attached if you want to compare current specs. cheers :biggrin1:

Do you have aftermarket upper control arms (UCAs) already?

If not, it's difficult to imagine how you're getting 5+ degrees of caster with a slight negative camber on a 3" lift. The amount of available positive caster and negative camber decrease as you lift the suspension higher. Aftermarket UCAs relocate the upper ball joint so that stock caster and camber specs are attainable with a suspension lift.

In any case, your camber and toe numbers look good, and there's nothing wrong with a high caster number if you like the way the truck drives. The need for aftermarket UCAs to restore caster is a matter of individual preference, whether it's a suspension vendor or a "keyboard expert" making the call.

Caster influences steering behavior near on-center. The more caster, the more the steering will want to self-center. Sure, Toyota provides specifications, but it's really up to you to decide how much is enough. Being out of spec on caster doesn't hurt anything; it can just make the truck unpleasant to drive. If you like the way it drives with 5+ degrees of caster, there's no reason to change it.

Got my 285/75r17 Falken AT3W's, Icon Delta Joint UCA's installed, & a bmc. They did my alignment & numbers seem OK, please tell me what you guys think. I swear I can visually see the bottom of the tires pointed inward more than the top & confirmed with a plumb line. For other info I have an OME 3"lift all around.

Sorry to necro this thread but just stopped lurking to create an account and need some similar help.

I just installed bilstein lift 2.5 upfront 1in rear stock everything else.

Went to get alignment and my caster is super low. From everything I have researched over the past year it should be easy for a tech that knows what they are doing to get this in spec. Here are my alignment numbers now:

Caster left 1.5 right 1.8 spec 2.8-3.8
camber left 0 right 0
toe left .1 right -.05

When I called back after looking at the sheet I get "well with a moded vehicle caster doesn't mater as long as it doesn't pull cause thats what caster affects, if you want that right other things will pull or be off"

They have been very nice and are willing to work on it or even do what I want but I don't know what that is.

What exactly are the consequences of low caster?
I am looking into other shops in the area but I already thought these guys knew what they were doing.

Any suggestions? ideas?

Low caster will make it dart around on the highway. It requires a lot of steering correction to keep straight.

closer to 4 degrees of caster, and it will track very well on the highway.

King coilovers (set at approx 2-2.25" w/ King rear shocks paired with Eibach Pro Lift 1" spring
