All Pro Wheel spacers/ lug nut question

I've had my set of All Pro 1.5" wheel spacers (Just on the front) for a few months now, and it came time for me to rotate my tires. I have American Racing steelies with their "spline" lug nuts that they threw in for free. After trying to take them off, all 6 took a great deal of struggle to get off, ending up in tearing up the threads on 2. the other 4 went back on, with more struggle. I'm getting new lug nuts asap, but has anyone else had this issue? I couldn't find any info on All Pro's website about spacer bolt diameters. Any help would be appreciated. thanks guys.

Salt in our area will creep into the threads and cause them to seize up some. The style of lug nut should matter on the wheel side. Try using a bit of anti-seize when re-installing them. Or, wrong size lug nuts.

Yea, I don't think the style of lug nuts and studs on the spacers had anything to do with why you had a hard time getting them off. Make sure you're not over torquing the lug nuts on there. If you do and add in factor of winter weather, like MS stated above me, you can bet that they won't come off easy. At least the studs on the spacers are more easily replaceable then the studs on your hubs.
