All weather mats

just ordered the 1st row digitalfit floorliners for the 2010. i asked about getting free shipping for the 2nd row when it was available and the rep was more than agreeable to waive the shipping fee for when i call back and order the 2nd row floorliners.

excellent customer service via telephone!

she said they are made-to-order and would take 10-14d FedEx from the date of order placement so i should get them in 2weeks!

also placing an order w/ my dealership tomorrow for my gray SR5 which should ALSO be here in 2weeks, so should be perfect timing!

I'm wondering if the all weather mats or liners are slick? I wear crocs usually all year round and they tend to be a little slick on rubber mats when it's wet out. Anyone know if these mats here are slick?

I've got the floor liner in my 4th gen. I don't find them slick at all, but then I don't wear Crocs.

I'm pretty sure the manual says you are not allowed to own a 4runner if you wear Crocs. That's what the Venza was made for.

I was under the impression it is specific, if not it will probably be making a trip back to where it came from... Ill find out at 530 today for sure though :cheers:

Yeah, I got the WeatherTech floor mats and I like them quite a bit. I kind of think that if I got the floor liners I wouldn't use the mats.

Whats the difference between a floor liner and a floor mat? I'm lost.

Whats the difference between a floor liner and a floor mat? I'm lost.

The weathertech floor liner gives much greater coverage and protection of the floor. Cost is greater, but having owned both for my 4th gen, the liner is far superior and worth every penny.

So, with the liner, you remove your factory mats all together? Does it cover the dead pedal, or just fit around it?

You remove the factory mats altogether, and the liner has a hole for the floor hook to secure it.

I'll have to check, but I believe it has a cut out to fit around the dead pedal.

The floor mats are removed when using liners.

WeatherTech liners have a holes in the driver side liner to use the factory hooks. Husky's do not, but have a ton of spikes underneath to hold the liner from shifting around.

The HuskyLiners for my Tacoma and 4Runner cover the dead pedal. I'm pretty sure if Husky has them for the 5th it would cover the dead pedal as well.

SO.... Last week I ordered a WeatherTec universal cargo mat and digital fit floor liners.

To my surprise there was only one box on my doorstep when I pulled in the driveway yesterday... Where were my floor liners!?!?!?

After holding for 20 minutes on the phone with WeatherTec they informed me that the floor liners are made per order and can take 2 weeks. So hopefully those will be in soon.

However I did receive the "universal cargo mat" I ordered. Surprisngly it fit pretty well. I cut an inch off one side and that was it...

I will post pictures of the cargo mat when the floor liners come in (yes I am THAT lazy)...

Liners/Mats

I have owned several brands and models of liners and mats in our family's vehicles over the years. I concur that WeatherTech and Husky are the best options overall.

That being said, the WeatherTechTech DigitalFit liners in my '04 4Runner are the best looking and fitting I have ever had. (I do like the Husky cargo liner however).

WeatherTech Cargo Liner

Here is a picture of my WeatherTech Cargo Liner. It just came in today so its still a little curled from being rolled up in the box. I did have to trim it a little bit to get it to fit. It looks good, but I liked the one in my '05 Durango better because it had "cupped" sides to better catch runaway water and mud.

Ordered weathertech digital front floor mats and customer service said the 2nd row and cargo liner is in development and should be released in 2-3 weeks. If you order the fronts tell them to put a note on the order and they will honor free shipping for the rest when its available.

I'm going to order a set too.Just wondering what color most people are ordering?
Are all the carpets in 4Runners black now.I thought I would love the black carpeting but boy does it show the lint/dirt.The gray carpeting I had in my 06 didn't show dirt near as much.I'm thinking of ordering the gray digital fit ones.
