All weather mats

Just a note. I haven't actually ordered any liners from husky yet. I have ordered weathertech liners for the front and was on the fence for the second row and cargo since weathertech is going to be a long way out on being able to supply them. Thats why I contacted Husky to see what there stuff looks like.

I had Husky liners in my 99 Cherokee and loved them. I never even took them out in the summer they fit so well.

In my 06 Subaru WRX I have them in the front, but they don't fit quite as nicely. So I end up taking them out in the summer, but they are still great in the winter.

They are a little thinner, I think, than the Weathertechs. But I actually like that better, they felt, in my Jeep, that they were part of the floor.

Post some pictures when you get the Husky liners in!

Huskys Ordered

I ordered a set of Husky front and rear liners yesterday. I'll let you know when they arrive.

...I'll post the pics as soon as he sends them to me.

Sounds good...

I just spoke with Husky Liner Sales and they said that 1st and 2nd row liners are sold together and are set to be released on Feb 15th. She also said a lot of the time, they aren't actually released on the set date. But when they are released, it will be both of them - 1st and 2nd row.

If I wait for WeatherTech, it'll be at least the 15th before liners are shipped - and thats the 1st row ONLY. If I wait for Husky Liners, it'll be at least the 15th before the liners are shipped - but at least it'll be for BOTH rows.

The huskyliner pro is that i can get both rows at once and soon. The only con I see for the Husky Liners, is that I don't like the "Weatherbeater" styling. They just don't appeal to me.

The pro with weathertech is that I like the way it's styled and it is appealing to my eyes. The con is that the 2nd row will take another 6-8 wks.

I'm thinking I might just switch over my order to Husky.

Looking at the delivery times everybody is noting I must have ordered the wrong thing because I am due to receive mine on 2/10/10, per FEDEX.

Here is what I ordered from WeatherTech on 2/3/10:

2010 Toyota 4Runner AVM™ - Universal Cargo Mat
Black
Qty. 1
2010 Toyota 4Runner FloorLiner™ DigitalFit® 1st Row
Black
Qty. 1

I received the Cargo Mat on 2/6/10.

From what I read the DigitalFit style are supposed to take 2 wks to turn? Odd.

I had the same situation... You will get your cargo mat and not the floor liners.. .Sorry they F*cked you too!:gun6:

So I did it...

I canceled my WeatherTech order and placed one with Husky Liners for the black 1st/2nd row floorliners. Hopefully they stick to their Feb 15th set date for shipping...

Mine actually came in today. I ordered them on 2/3 and they were here when I came home. Below is a pic via iPhone so quality is lacking. First thoughts: they fit great but the surface is a bit slicker than I expected. They seem more plastic than rubbery. They are the black to match black interior. Worth 100 bucks? Not so sure.

How's the fit of the Weathertech's? Do they seem to move around much or are they pretty grippy to the carpet?

It looks like they have the hole for the carpet hook, do you think you'd get a lot of water in there, if you had snowy feet?

Hmmm...interesting... you ordered yours on 2/3 and mine were ordered on 1/27 and I do not have mine yet, nor are they shipped. Very upset! They look nice though!

WTF!!!

This really ticks me off. They gave me (and others) the run-around and said it would take another couple weeks, and said that repeatedly. They also told me 6 weeks for the 2nd row set, and told other members 4 weeks and apparently told harper7 9 weeks. So much for consistency (rolling eyes). I'm GLAD I canceled my order and took my business to Husky Liners.

:ak472: WeatherTech

Sorry to rain on your parade jkinder. I'm glad that you finally got your set and hope you're happy with it. :thumb3:

They are really nice!!
The number to Weathertech is 800-441-6287 and 2 at the prompt.
I just called them on my order and they said it will ship next week.I ordered the gray front ones on 2/4 . They put me down for the free shipping on the 2nd row ones and they won't be ready for 9 weeks according to the girl at Weathertech.

I ordered mine on January 26th, tried to call them to ask and was put on hold for more than 30 minutes. I hung up. They sent me a form e-mail when I tried to e-mail about my order. I probably won't ever order anything from them again - wish I could get through to them to cancel my order - they already charged my card last month and I already have the statement. Pis poor customer service for sure...

I can see it now, Weathertech gets a dozen angry calls to cancel orders because "jkinder" got his first. I'll never get the 2nd row when they become available!! Perhaps I got mine because I ordered them in black and the other colors are delayed?

They seem to grip the carpet well with no visible movement. I don't think water will be a problem as the hook holes have a rather tall lip to keep water in the basin of the liner.

Do the carpet/liner hooks come with the 4Runner? Not a big issue since the liner grips well but I like to get everything I paid for, even if it is 50 cent plastic hook!

!

Nope, mine were the black, ordered a week before yours. Already wrote them regarding their major error in order processing/shipping. It seems like they are working backwards from the orders. I am upset, going back and forth if I want to stop my order and go with Husky. I will wait on their responce and make my decision then.

Your credit card company will back you 100% if you card has been charged but the order has not been shipped. Unless it is a deposit it is illegal for them to charge your card before it ships. Think about it, you are paying interest on a product you dont even have in your possesion yet.

*** Ironic*** - They take calls in the order in which they are received - hmmm - but they dont ship that way?!

Wow

So I just called and spoke to a rep..... the attitude I receive was disgusting! I 1st inquired about the status, she said I had been 'upgraded' and it would be shipped out by the end of this week. (up until that point she had a decent attitude). I then questioned why people were receiving my same order before I received mine. She swore up and down that was not the case, the person who reported they received theirs was not correct (jkinder - you are wrong - lol - you are dreaming you have them - pinch yourself), that did not happen. She argued with me until I told her pictures were posted and asked for her e-mail so I could send it to her for proof. I then got this nasty attitude, asking if I wanted to stop my order, etc. She went on about how good their product was, how many Americans they are putting back to work, how they are hand made, and how 'crappy' Husky's are. Everything under the sun but addressing my issue with shipping. She rushed me off the phone telling me she had other people to talk to waiting. Wow, I can not remember the last time I hung up the phone and was so angry and furious! If my order does not ship on Friday I am stopping it. To anyone else thinking of ordering from them, I would say do NOT! If their customer service is any indication of the quality of their product, then run, far and fast! Oh, and never once got an apology! That is my last dealing with the company, hope the rest of you have better luck!

after reading everyone's frustrations about ordering the AW mats, i decided to go custom and ordered cocomats (Default, Palm and Fiber). i ordered the 2 front mats with a 1 piece rear mat. i realize these aren't the rubberized mats like husky and weathertech make, but my runner is mostly a pavement queen and will rarely track heavy dirt. they're expensive but they're also very durable. i've seen them in other cars and it's hard to tell how old they are because they wear so well. not to mention the flexibility in selecting the fabric and design. i chose the cocomat in black with grey dots to add some depth on the floor board.

Mine was black too, and one of the first ordered after they posted them to their web site. Very poor customer service, and it sounds like when you do get through to speak with a live person they kind of act like you owe them your business. A good company would simply own up to their mistake and try to make it up to the customer - free shipping or something like that, or at the very least upgrade to overnight. I doubt we will see anything like that from this company. A shame for them - they have always had a good name and product. Oh well, I see this from a lot of companies these days - seems like folks just don't want to do any actual work for a living any more - only want things handed to them. Oops, sorry to wander off...

I called and spoke to jennifer last night... I think she had already spoken to a few peoplethat were not too happy. She was extremely kind before i could even complain she said "Im sorry, and if you do not have an email with shipping info from us by Monday, call me back (she said she will be working monday night till midnight) and she would have them shipped overnight.

Sooo.... Im still pissed i dont have them and the circumstances are a little shady but I was mildly satisfied with customer service last night... and by mildly I mean i didnt get off the phone wanting to throw something
