Just got an email from Husky stating that my ordered was shipped out today via FedEx! Perfect timing since I'm taking delivery of my new T4R next Thursday. :banana:
On another note, I canceled my order with WeatherTech on the 9th (2 days ago) and they said it would take 24-48 hours for the refund to show up on my account. I'm at 44 hours now and still don't see any refund on my credit card bill!!
Pictures will be posted once they both arrive!

Picture of cargo liner?
Does anyone have a picture of a cargo liner w/ slider option? Either WT or Husky. I'm curious about the coverage. Does it go all the way to second row seat or stop where divider is? (I'm thinking of adding divider b/c small items always get sucked into that space when I pull the tray out) I had a Husky in my 3rd Gen that worked great but I would prefer a model w/ a less pronounced raised edge around the border, especially at the entry. It was nice to contain an entire spilled six pack but more often it was in the way and decreased the aesthetics.
I'm a little pissed at Toyota at their insulting attempt to include a "cargo liner". Some designer that is probably a share holder at WT or Husky decided to make it carpeted and ridiculously small so we would all throw them away and purchase after market. A cleverly designed injection molded piece of plastic would probably dilute the margins in the 5th gen by $1 and save us $90. It's either stupidity or collusion and I'm betting the later.

My Husky order was shipped Feb 11, Delivered today, Feb 13! GREAT service from Husky!! PS - they look like they'll work pretty well.

Wow, very nice! Honestly I am glad WeatherTech dropped the ball again, (no shipping on Friday). Calling on Monday to cancel and order the Husky ones, they look a LOT nicer!

I ordered my Weathertech floor liners on 1/27 this morning the status of my order was still "in progress" although my credit card had been charged on the 27th. I called Weathertech this morning and I was told they would ship today and my shipping cost would be refunded because it was taking so long. I canceled my order instead.
I canceled my order because based on the images posted here the husky liners are a better product. I like that there are no holes for the hooks. It also appears that the husky liners are more rubbery than the weathertechs which look plastic. It does not hurt that the huskys are a little cheaper and I can get the second row now.

The Huskys DO look a little plasticy, but they don't FEEL like plastic under your feet - they're definitely grippy like rubber. They're not fitting perfectly flat yet, but things may improve as the weather warms up.
Another kudo for Husky: I was told mine would ship on the 15th and would take five business days. Boy, was I surprised to find out that they shipped four days early and then, another surprise, delivered on SATURDAY!!

I ordered my WeatherTech liners (fronts only) about two weeks ago and they came in last week. I'm suprised so many people are having issues.

Well that is part of the issue - they have been telling us that NO ONE has received theirs yet and obviously that is not true. Also some of us placed our order before yours and still never received them - with no promise of when they will ship. Seems like they are not playing on a level field, and the truth seems to escape them. I don't like doing business with companies like them...
Ryan - how do you like the fit of the WT liners? Any thoughts on how they compare to the Husky versions that others are buying?
I have the older WT mats in my current 4Runner and they have been pretty effective but the liners look better at containing snow melt, etc. I'm debating on which company has the better liner for my 5thGen.

Well, I can't speak on the Huskys, because I've never owned a set. But the WT liners fit like a glove and stay put very nicely. If your shoes are wet, they can be a little slick, but dry shoes grip well.
I got the black ones, and since I live in Central MD, they are already covered in road salt and they look white. I'll clean them off in a week or two to see how easily they clean up.. but I don't forsee any issues there. This time of the year it's impossible to keep anything clean, so I'm not worried about it for now.
If you're willing to risk the seemingly poor customer service of WT (I was a lucky one) then I'd say WT is a fine choice. But you may want to get some feedback from someone who has owned both brands before making a decision.

In the pics above, note the edges of the mats where they lie on the sills and against the side panels. They're being held up out of contact by the "STA-PUT NIBS" that Husky uses to keep the liners in place on carpet. They are spaced all over the backs of the liners, even in places where they actually interfere with the fit. I spent a few minutes clipping and cutting the nibs from all of the places where they contact anything non-carpet, and they now fit even better than before.
