For now those have to stay on for sure. I have 4 year old twins (and a bad back), so they are a must so i don't have to pick them up every time we load up.....:nono:

I have the 2.5/1.5 lift and stock 265/65/17 mich tires right now and it doesnt look bad at all. The trails i usually ride require the added ground clearance of the lift more than the grip of the tires.

the only way you increase ground clearance is by increasing tire size. a 3inch lift with stock tires still leaves you with stock ground clearance. however, you did increase your approach/departure angle a little

I've got the DS 2.5/1.5 and spidertrax on mine and absolutely LOVE it. I also have stock size tires and it still looks impressive if I do say so myself. I'd highly recommend putting the lift on. If nothing else, you'll get far more enjoyment out of the next 60,000 miles of those tires than you would if you waited till the next pair..

Just go for it. You know you want to.

thats the cornfed spacer lift right? ex and I had that one on our old 2004 runner and really liked it a lot! the ride quality wasnt compromised at all. i know they make one for the 3rd gen's....does anyone on here have it on their 3rd gen? was wondering if it rides as well as it did on the 04? Cornfed is local to me. When we put it on the 04 I drove it right to the dudes house and he installed it in his driveway lol

Lift it, worry about tires later. Look for used tires to get you through winter if that's an issue. I did a spacer lift with almost 33in tires:

Vs. Stock

Vs. stock Tundra

It's not huge but looks more aggressive.
