Alternative replacements for carpet? Bedliner or something different?

Hey guys and gals just wondering if anyone has any ideas for alternative stuff to replace the interior carpet with. I have seen jon's thread on the herculined interior but not sure if I'm a fan. I like it that its tough and durable but I don't like being able to see all the ribs in the floor or the thought of my truck gettin any louder.

I was looking at this stuff (Cabela's: Cabela's Tuff Coat Non-Skid Coating) from Cabelas but wasn't sure of the end result. It is sound deadening, has rubber pieces in it, and is also non skid. It is meant for putting on boats and decks so its meant for the water. Incase I decide I want to flood my rig again........ :lookout:

So has anyone seen another idea to replace there carpet with that is fairly cheap but durable?

just get a new carpet set... you will be happy you did. if you do just put a bed/deck lining in your truck instead you will be more inclined to "try it" and end up flooding more often IMO, but if you have carpet you might think twice and not flood your rig. flooding your rig can cause other issues like electrical problems in the future... just my thoughts

go with lizard skin its a spray on aplication and they have 2 kinds one is for sound deadening and the other is for heat just google it!
