Alternator bearing replacement?

Old thread revival time...

So I have two used Denso alternators in pieces on my workbench awaiting repair. 1st one is a 60A unit from an early 1st gen Taco or later T100. The 2nd one is a 70A unit from a mid-gen 1st gen Taco or 96-98 4Runner. FWIW and as many know the '99-02 4Runners and the '01-04 Tacos came with an 80A unit. These figures are only for 5VZ-FE powered vehicles, I can not comment any other engines. OK enough rambling...long story short, I was going to replace the brushes and bearings and keep the units as spares but the slip rings have worn almost all of the way through. Has anyone ever ordered slip rings and replaced them?

So I was able to find a slip ring online. I ordered mine from Maniac Electric Motors. I'll post up again with my results. In the pictures you can see the wear groove from the brushes on one of the slip rings. I also have two rotors pictured just to show more detail.
