Alternator Fuse

I know this sounds stupid but does anyone know if there is a special way to remove the alt fuse? I need to replace mine and the thing just wont come out. I've tried using pliers and I've had no luck.

Could have fused itself to the contacts if you blew it good enough. Might have to replace the hole block but it should come out with a slight pull so chances are you fused it. Sense you didn't provide year or engine type I can only say I know of no specific method other then pulling the fuse out.

It slides out the bottom of the fuse block. It is clipped in place with wires bolted to each side.

Don't feel bad, I broke my fuse before finding out about the bolt that goes through it! Easiest way to see it is unbolt the fuse box and flip it over.

My bad, Vision, its a 90 V6. It was never blown, just burned pretty bad. Unfortunately I figured out a rough idea how after I posted, annnd broke it like Crash did :ybrick:

Why on Earth did Toyota have to do it like that??

That's not the case here. They could've made it an easy fuse like the 40 and 30 amp ones
