I know lots of people love Amazon but they have their share of thieves. They just screwed me out of $300. Short version - I bought a camera for $300, the seller sent me a different one worth $120 saying the one I ordered was sold out and the replacement was better.
I told him I didn't want one other than what I ordered. The seller gave a bogus address to return it. It was returned to me as undeliverable. I filed a claim against the seller. Amazon gave me the real address to return it a second time. I sent it off and it was undeliverable. Another bogus address.
Amazon cancelled my claim since I couldn't prove it was returned.
Amazon also removed my warning to other buyers - this thief is still selling with Amazon's approval.
Apparently all anyone has to do is what this seller did - set up a bogus account, bogus address and they can fleece away without Amazon giving a damn that they're screwing people.
Buyer beware.
