It also includes Amazon video, a huge library or movies/shows/series to stream at will...I find the cost per year extremely justifiable. Buy 10 albums off iTunes or Google Play in a year and you just paid for Amazon Prime which offers SO much more for the price.

I've gotten mine extended by almost another 6 months. Sometimes the guaranteed prime two day shipping takes an extra day or two. Call customer service and they either extend your membership or credit your account.

I don't download music and use spotify.

I also have netflix which is enough as the last time I had Prime, the show library was pretty miserable. So, to me, the only thing prime is useful for would be shipping.

Yeah true..i do monthly prime any period i want to buy stuff on amazon.at abt 10 quid a month..works very well for me

You can also add up to 5 people to share you prime account benefits with.
Free prime shipping applies to a lot of subscribe and save items also.
Amazon prime video streaming is also a plus.

I think just the free shipping alone pays for it self in less than 2 months. I don't know about you, but for me, If you then calculate the cost of your time that you save by not going out and wasting time shopping, it pays for itself in a week after just 1 or 2 orders.
